I don't recall which Rollin Hand book was my first, but I do know this -- he never disappoints.He always delivers a good plot and is capable of expanding a basic story line far beyond what a reader expects in the beginning. The first chapter in this volume, "One Room Schoolhouse," is a good example of that. The entertainment goes far beyond the initial story of a simple schoolboy encounter with a birch rod.
Rollin also shows himself to be at perfectly at home in a variety of historical periods-- his way with Medieval settings in Europe are among my favorites. "A Princess of Veronia" has a wonderful blend of spanking eroticism and romance set against the customs of a fascinating period.
The six stories in this volume will, I think, keep you highly entertained and will leave you with the feeling that the author respected his audience enough to craft stories that are so much more than the mechanical application of hard hand/stingy switch/smacking paddle/stripey strap to a naughty bare bottom.
The name Rollin Hand on a volume is pretty much a guarantee of well-written, first-class entertainment.

This was well written and I enjoyed reading it. I will be on the look out for other titles from this author.
Not really anything more than short stories. I was hoping to find ideas for the couple with a new found interest in this area.
This was a book divided for me. I enjoyed some stories better than others. Some were hotter with a more realistic tone. I felt a little disconnected in certain ones. Give it a read- everyone is different. I rated as a three because I personally did not connect with certain stories.
